I remember how laughably insane and impractical these were when they came out.

In retrospect, I give the FX credit for paving the way for every stupidly fast 2-row crossover, from the SRT Grand Cherokee to every single Porsche Cayenne. And eventually the even stupider ones like the X6 and Merc GLE coupe.

It really broke a lot of weird ground in it’s early days. Who ever heard of 22” wheels on a passenger car?

The FX50S is my favorite modern Nissan product. I just don’t like the terrible fuel economy and high tire replacement costs.

Engine swap idea. Just need a 370 with a blown engine, easy to find with how many kids get them. Then if you have enough money to get the v8 from this, and fab up everything you are golden. I think id rather get a s/sl600 with the M120, fab equal length headers and straight pipe it. And cost permitting, add a beefy manual swap.
